Honorlock’s extension and AI only see the computer they run on. Put that computer in a browser tab — a spoofed Windows desktop — and keep your real machine open beside it.
Honorlock is an online proctoring service used by universities to monitor students during remote exams. It combines an AI "record and review" system with on-demand live proctors, running through a Chrome extension that students install before a test in Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, Moodle, or Honorlock’s own portal. It records your webcam, screen, and browser, and flags things like tab switching, extra faces, or a phone on camera.
The School Cheats cloud desktop (vm.schoolcheats.net) is a full Windows 11 computer in a browser tab. You install the Honorlock extension and take the exam inside that desktop instead of on your own machine. Its reported hardware — BIOS, CPU, and board — is tuned to look like an ordinary PC, so Honorlock’s environment and virtual-machine checks pass and your real webcam feeds through for the identity scan.
Everything Honorlock records is confined to that tab. Outside of it, your real computer is untouched — School Cheats, notes, and a second browser stay open the whole time, and because you never search the exam wording yourself, Honorlock’s seeded "fake question" traps never come into play.
Built to work alongside the lockdown — not against it.
Install the Honorlock Chrome extension inside the cloud desktop — never on your own laptop or profile.
Spoofed hardware means Honorlock’s virtual-machine and environment checks don’t flag the session.
Honorlock only records the tab. On your actual computer, School Cheats and your notes stay open the entire exam.
Honorlock seeds fake question dumps to catch searches. Ask School Cheats directly and you never touch the exam wording online.
Your real camera and microphone pass through the desktop, so Honorlock’s ID and face check works as normal.
The desktop resets to a fresh Windows install when your session ends — nothing traces back to you.
Four simple steps to answers on any Honorlock exam.
Open vm.schoolcheats.net and start a 1–2 hour session — a Windows 11 computer loads in your browser tab.
Add the Honorlock extension and open your exam within the desktop. Spoofed hardware clears its environment checks.
Type questions into School Cheats on your own computer instead of searching — this skips Honorlock’s seeded fake pages entirely.
Your webcam passes through for the face check. When you submit, the desktop wipes itself back to a clean state.
